Week 11

Happy Friday!

Each week a group of wonderful photographers from Beautiful Beasties Network challenges each other to take on an assignment. This is a great way to network, get to know each other, and just try new things in general.

This week's theme was something silly. I photograph my pups almost daily. Older they get, I worry one day, I won't have enough memories. So I have conditioned my pups to be all serious and work so they can get a cookie. That means I took my camera and followed my pups around for few minutes here and there. That is the best way to capture something unexpected and silly. Since my pups are always very serious on their photos, these are our silly pictures here.

Miss Honey is always very serious looking straight into the camera. Well, here she was rubbing her face on a side, wagging her tail, and kept teasing me so I pet her. This is really cute, considering she is relaxed, she has that come snuggle look on her face. Love it! Just want to squish her!

What happened next, after I took this image? Two monsters came attack Honey! My foster boy is a puppy, so he will instigate play at any time of the day, if possible all the time. Two monsteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeers! Ouchy ouch! Poor Honey bear!

After, I had a talk with the foster puppy, just to have him understand that we don't eat our foster sister. Well, you tell me, if he cared a bit ahahaha! Monster!

So, I moved on to my favorite two girls. Katchka was up to doing some shots, fun! These shots really show her fun personality. She has few teeth left. One small K9 on the bottom and few little teeth and that is it. So, when she get's excited her face is super cute. Look at her digging and playing in her bed. Excuse the dog hair on the blanket, the big dog loves to lay in the small bed. So cute!

Now, me the princess of the house, me tired... walk away with that thing!

Here is quick show how the big dog always ends up in a small bed. So adorable! Honey has been such a good momma to all my fosters and my own pups too. I keep saying I will find her a home, because she is my foster girl, but I have a feeling she already found one. She always keeps my senior girls warm and comfortable. So cute and silly!

I hope you enjoyed my translation of the project. I always do my best to photograph all my pups, because nobody gets to be left out. Not true, seems I left out Sarik. Get inspired and photograph your own pups! Try something new every time. Up next head over to Suzi Pix Photography, Cincinnati, Ohio. This is a circle and we always have lots of photographers participating. Please scroll down on each blog and visit the next photographer.

Have fun!
