Week 1 | 2016

Happy Friday!

Each week a group of amazingly talented photographers from Facebook Group challenges each other to take on an assignment or weekly theme. I have joined two years ago. My first year was strong, but my second year was hard due to fostering of few really difficult and time consuming behavior issues dogs. This weekly challenge is a great way to network, get to know each other, and just try new things in general. I love being creative and I will do my best to wow you!

This week's theme is: NEW. We receive the theme a week in advance so we can come up with whatever this word means to us. Since it is a New Year and my foster girl was just adopted, this is perfect theme for me! Mystic was in the Daytona Beach German Shepherd Rescue for six months. She came in pregnant, HW+, and full of worms and garbage in her tummy. Long story short two major surgeries later, lots work on her lack of socialization (that is still in works with her new daddy), she finally found a home.

Mystic is beautiful jet black girl and I called her Mystic the Wolf Princess, because in a way her behavior is very wild. So fitting for this face! I am about to show you some photos with her forever daddy. We drove her to SC to meet her daddy but I will never forget my foster babies. Every time it feels like I am giving one of my own away. Best life my Wolf Princess! Here is to NEW FOREVER home!

As you can tell when they met, it was a love at first sight. Love at first belly rub...

Mystic will love to be the only Princess of the house with so much time her dad can dedicate to her. We hope once she feels better she will start training and do some work. We are still taking it easy since those two major surgeries and the HW Treatment took a toll on her body. I love this girl dearly and I will miss her. But she is in the best possible hands. I could not be happier! I feel these two will do just fine without my further help.

Thank you Hector for giving my girl a chance. Until I see you again... keep walking and don't turn back, because the new chapter of Mystic's journey is about to begin...

I truly hope you enjoyed this emotional post, because fostering saves lives. It is so difficult to let go, but seeing these two, I know I will do just fine. The look in animal's eyes, when they are finally home is priceless and they just know. Thank you for taking the time to read this and look at my photos.

Remember, this is a circle of photographers and we try to get others participating. Please scroll down on each blog and visit the next photographer. I hope you enjoy the talent and diversity in our group. If you want to join our group let me know! Up next is Kaylene | LupinBay Photography, Hawke's Bay, New Zealand

Have fun!
