Happy Friday!
Each week a group of wonderful photographers from Beautiful Beasties Network challenges each other to take on an assignment. This is a great way to network, get to know each other, and just try new things in general.
This weeks theme is January. I live in Florida, but January looks like a fall anywhere else. Temperatures dip into 40s and 30s overnight. Today, we had few flurries near Jacksonville! I took my pups out few times into two different locations. I really wanted to show the feel of dried grass, fallen leaves, and still hint of green thanks to palm trees. Here are few photos from a daytime shoot. I was scouting new location, but this is how January looks in north east Florida.
Daytime:
Evenings are red, orange, yellow tone. I love photographing Florida clients in fall and winter. The light is stunning. It is a light show, but the weather was not working with me during the sunset time. My apologies for little to no creativity. I tried to photograph at sunset three times, but clouds were making things impossible. And the only time there was a sunset, I missed it. At least I was able to practice bokeh!
Evening:
In the last photo Mojo is sporting his vest, because it is cold in the evening time. My pups end up wearing sweatshirts to gain extra warm layer.
I hope you are enjoying January theme in Florida. I like the change, even my heat is on! Head over to view translation of our project to Khanya Photography, Poughkeepsie, New York. This is a circle and we always have lots of photographers participating. Please scroll down on each blog and visit the next photographer.
Have fun!
