Week 3

Happy Friday!

Each week a group of wonderful photographers from Beautiful Beasties Network challenges each other to take on an assignment. This is a great way to network, get to know each other, and just try new things in general.

This week's theme is A Day in Life of... This is great way to get creative with more than one shot. I picked my sweet baby girl Katchka. She is almost 13Y old and I love her to pieces. She stays away, so other's can get attention, but I love her so much. The whole week was rainy, nasty, and I was busy saving shelter dogs. Not only that I photograph, but when I can I transport too. So sorry, there is few shots I really wanted, but never got it. Anyway, I got most of them, except the one where we brush teeth, because Katchka doesn't have any teeth left. She was a product of backyard breeder and lost her teeth few years ago. Katchka is very healthy, but always has funny grin on her face. She is my princess and true lady. He tongue doesn't hang out. You would think it would, because she doesn't have teeth, but Katchka makes sure, she looks normal at first look.

Ready? Here we go! Our routine!

We get up in the morning and Katchka heads into the shower, while I prepare breakfast. She really doesn't shower, this is just for creativity points ;) Early morning!

Katchka eats breakfast and heads back to bed, while I go to work. You can tell, she is not a morning pup.

Shots of her sleeping are missing due to the fact, I am not usually home, but when I get home, we go for a walk. There she is all majestic watching the world go by. Love this girl so much!

After a walk and exercise, we eat dinner, and bed time once again. Katchka's favorite activity is sleeping. If she could, she would bring sofa everywhere she goes. Lovet this girl!

Nite nite Katchka. Of course no sleeping photos, because I rushed to get this done. I always have a plan of action and life just happens. One of the rescued dogs escaped and I have spend 3 days tracking the pup online with others, since I live too far to search. Sadly, no sightings of sweet Duke. Hope he shows soon. I have not finished this project once as I wanted.

I hope you enjoyed Katchka's day, very simple, relaxing, and very Katchka like. Get inspired and document your pup's day. Lot's of fun! Head over to view translation of our project to 100 Loyal Faces Photography, Perth, Australia. This is a circle and we always have lots of photographers participating. Have fun!
