Week 40

Happy Friday!

Each week a group of wonderful photographers from Beautiful Beasties Network challenges each other to take on an assignment. This is a great way to network, get to know each other, and just try new things in general.

This week our theme is Fall. I live in Florida and we don't have either Spring or Fall. However the sun has been hiding behind mean clouds for the whole month. I guess our Florida Fall can be described as overcast and lots of rain. Here is my own twist on the weekly assignment.

My husband left for a long deployment, his last morning with us, I took him to see the sunrise. Little did I know the sun won't come out for his last sunrise with us. We had fun and made the best out of this early morning beach walk. The morning was cool, wet, and the sun just never came out. That would never stop my puppy boy from playing Frisbee with his favorite human.

I am not sure, if anyone follows the story of my foster dog. She has been with us for four months now and I have been featuring her in this project. Her name is Honey and my puppy boy has bonded with her. These two turn out to be inseparable. They play together, they get in trouble together, and they love to do things together. Here you can see their journey walk together. So sweet, they really enjoy each other's company very much. Honey's story has inspired lots of my FB fans to help foster or volunteer in their local shelter. I could not wish for better shelter ambassador, who came a long way, from being shut down to being a part of foster family.

To finish off this project, I would love to share a photo that is priceless. I have never seen this foster girl this happy. Seeing her enjoying everyday activities is truly priceless and joy to watch. I wish the sound could be captured in this images. This chunk of meat running down the beach is all I can say :)
